JOHNNY  STAFFORD SR.
Johnny Milton Stafford Sr., 77, of Cumberland, passed quietly at his home and went to the with the Lord on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2019.
Born Jan. 6, 1942, he was the son of the late Joseph Stafford and Beulah Stutler. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Rita McDonald; infant daughter, Peggy; and best little pal and long-time buddy, Corky Roo.
He was a graduate of Oldtown High School and a former 22 year employee of the Cumberland Steel Company.
He highly enjoyed being an avid outdoorsman, Jeep collector, and tinkering around his garage while pondering his next big project.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Linda K. (Kerns) Stafford; son, Johnny M. Stafford Jr. and wife, Debbie, Cumberland; daughters, Jacqueline Lawrence and husband, Brian, Cumberland, and Tracey Whitman, Ridgeley, W.Va.; grandchildren, Nathan, Jennifer, Courtney, and Kenny; four brothers, Douglas and wife, Dyane, Steve and wife, Nancy, Rocky and wife, Donna, Mark and wife, Becky; brother-in-law, Jim McDonald; numerous nieces and nephews; and too many good friends to list.
A memorial service will take place at Pentecostal Holliness Church, 660 Fayette St., Cumberland, on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019, at 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to: Pentecostal Holiness Church, 660 Fayette St., Cumberland, MD 21502.

Johnny, I am so sorry for your loss. I know all too well what it feels like to lose a parent. My prayers are with you for sure. I will be in OC the day of your father's memorium or I'd be there. Take care of yourself and Deb.
