Cumberland, Maryland - Joseph Hoffman Llewellyn, 89, of Cumberland, Md., passed away Sunday, Oct. 26, 2025, at Allegany Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born Feb. 17, 1936, in National, Md., Joseph was the son of the late Wesley Eugene Llewellyn and Cynthia Ann (Korns) Llewellyn. He was also preceded in death by his son, Joseph Blair Llewellyn, and he was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Joseph graduated from Bedford High School and was a U.S. Army veteran. He retired from Kelly Springfield Rubber and Tire Company, and worked at Wilson's Hardware Store. Joseph attended Cornerstone Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting and attending his family's sports games.

Joseph is survived by his wife of 59 years, Janice Llewellyn; his children, Daryl Llewellyn and wife Amy, Mark Llewellyn, and Denise Stuby and husband Gerald; and his grandchildren, Elisha and Isaac Llewellyn, and Daniel and Addyson Stuby; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, MD, www.AdamsFamilyFuneralHome.com, on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025, from 5 to 8 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday, Oct. 31, 2025, at 11 a.m., with Pastor Dave Hattenfield officiating. Friends will also be received one hour prior.

Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
