Bedford, PA - Joseph V. Tittle, 87, of Hollidaysburg, Pa., formerly of Bedford, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Sept. 15, 2025, at the Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg surrounded by his family. He was born on March 28, 1938, in East Stroudsburg, a son of the late Joseph and Edna (Hubler) Tittle. On May 18, 1963, in Cumberland, Md., he married Judith R. (Cross) Tittle, who preceded him in death on July 31, 2019.
He is survived by the following family: a daughter, Karen Leslie Rhodes and husband Robert, of Port Matilda; a daughter, Kathy Ann Hann and husband Harry "Buddy," of Duncansville; a son, Joseph T. Tittle and wife Tracey, of Bedford; a daughter, Kelly Jo Edmiston and husband Geordie, of Hollidaysburg; and a daughter, Michelle Stevens and husband Curtis, of Hollidaysburg; nine grandchildren, Erin Fogle and husband Ben, Michael Tittle and wife Ashley, Christopher Tittle, Ben Hann and girlfriend Jenna Hilling, Justin Hann and wife Karen, Kristen Smeltz and husband Kody, Katelyn, Carter and Alex Stevens; four great-grandchildren, Liam and Owen Fogle, and Hallie and Bryson Smeltz; and one brother, Jackie Tittle and wife Rosie of Wildwood, N.J.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Joanna Reynolds.
Joseph was a member of the Liberty Bible Church. He was a Petty Officer 2nd Class in the U.S. Navy. He worked at various places, including Revlon in New Jersey after getting out of the Navy, Joe Serna's Electric in Cumberland, Md., Schmidt's Bakery, and he finally retired from JLG in Bedford. In his younger days, he was a youth group leader with his church and also helped with the Boy Scouts. He served as a township supervisor for Centerville and was an avid Penn State fan.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Sept. 19, 2025, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford, with Pastor Stewart McClelland officiating. Burial at Sunset Memorial Park. Full military rites will be conducted by the Fort Bedford Honor Guard.
Friends will be received on Thursday, Sept. 18, 2025, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home and on Friday one hour prior to the service.
