Cumberland, Maryland - Joshua Reid Hoenicka, 31, of Cumberland, Md., passed away Friday, Oct. 3, 2025.
Born July 30, 1994, in Cumberland, Joshua was the son of Kevin Hoenicka and wife Stacey, and Rebecca (Kiiffner) Mullan and husband Doug.
Joshua worked at FedEx. He loved spending time with his daughter Raeelynn and his grand-pap "Gee" and Carol Kiiffner.
Joshua was preceded in death by his grandparents, Phillip and Louise Hoenicka; and his great-grandparents, Bob and Verona Kiiffner, and Bill and Colleen Norris.
Besides his parents, Joshua is survived by his wife, Keira Hoenicka; his daughter, Raelynn; his stepdaughters, Jadelyn and Samiyah; his brothers, Zack Hoenicka and wife Ami, and Luke Hoenicka and wife Erin; his nieces and nephews, Cameron, Carlie, and Cole, Braven and Denver; his maternal grandparents, "Gee" and Carol Kiiffner; his aunts, Beth Davis, Karen Matthews and Nancy Phillips; as well as numerous cousins and other extended family members.
Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, MD, www.AdamsFamilyFuneralHome.com, on Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2025, from 4 to 7 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday, Oct. 9, 2025, at 12 noon, with Ritch Ricker officiating.
Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery.
The pallbearers will be Zack Hoenicka, Luke Hoenicka, Garret D'Atri, Marcus Lashley, Gary Norris and Skylar Atkinson.
