Judith Ann Bowers , 80, of Waynesboro, Pa., passed away on Friday, April 5, 2019, at her home.

Born on July 21, 1938, in McCoole, she was the daughter of the late John David Gatrell and the late Maxine Liberty (Sager) Gatrell.

She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Beth Jule Bowers, and stepfather, William Turnbull.

Judy graduated from Valley High School in Lonaconing. She was employed with Hershey Ice Cream, retiring after many years. Judy dearly loved her family and enjoyed cooking and baking for everyone which brought her family together.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Russel Bowers; two sons, Brion (Linda) Bowers of Waynesboro, and Jeff (Bev) Bowers of Hagerstown; her brother, Sam (Pat) Turnbull of Hagerstown; two sisters, Linda Tansill of Frostburg, and Cherri (Randy) Banks of Hagerstown; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held privately with the family.
