Piedmont, WV - Junior Richard "Dick" Rosier, 90, of Piedmont, W.Va., passed away on April 5, 2026.

Born May 9, 1935, in Barnum, he was the son of the late Leo and Thelma (Abernathy) Rosier. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Junior served in the United States Army from April 30, 1957, to April 7, 1964, and he retired from the United States Air Force, with which he served from Oct. 1, 1965, to June 30, 1978. He was a member of the Kelly Mansfield Post 52 American Legion, Piedmont, W.Va., and the Victory Post 155 American Legion, Westernport, Md.

He leaves behind his sons, John R. Rosier of Hagerstown and Michael L. Rosier of Piedmont; his grandchildren, Christina (Rosier) Flaskamp, Bethany Rosier and Nathan Rosier; and his three great-granddaughters, Alexis, Madison and Veronica.

Friends will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Friday, April 10, 2026, from 6 to 8 p.m.

A funeral service will take place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 1 p.m., with Pastor Thomas Morgan officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service.

Military honors will be accorded at Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.
