Lonaconing, MD - Karina K. Brodie, 83, of East Main Street, Lonaconing, died on Monday, April 6, 2026, at UPMC Western Maryland, Cumberland. Born on Oct. 7, 1942, in Lonaconing, she was the daughter of the late Harry Beeman and Anna (Likens) Beeman.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Andrew Brodie Sr., on Aug. 3, 2024. They were married for 60 years. She is also preceded in death by her oldest son, Robert Andrew Brodie Jr., on May 25, 2024; and two sisters, Janet Beeman and Mary Ann Beeman.

Karina was a 1960 graduate of Valley High School. She retired as the court secretary for the Allegany County Court System. She liked to bake, play Mahjong, and watch Baltimore Orioles and Ravens games. She loved animals, especially her granddog, Lucy.

She is survived by two sons, William C. Brodie and James E. Brodie; a daughter-in-law, Mary Frances Brodie; two sisters, Joan Fazenbaker and Bonnie Lough; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, April 13, 2026, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing. A funeral service will follow at 4 p.m., with Pastor David Schoch officiating. Interment will be held at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Moscow Mills.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Karina to Friends of the Allegany County Animal Shelter at P.O. Box 566, Cumberland, MD 21501.
