Kenneth Moreland (E.) Obituary

Bedford, Pennsylvania - Kenneth E. Moreland, 64, of Centerville, Pa., died Thursday, Feb. 18, 2021, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family and friends.

He was born July 13, 1956, in Wilkinsburg, Pa., a son of the late Maurice and Mabel (Griffith) Moreland.

On July 14, 1973, in Bedford, Pa., he married Kim (Braman) Moreland, who survives along with two sons, William "Bill" Moreland and companion, Brenda Foor, of Bedford, and Mark Moreland, widower of Michelle, of Port Matilda, Pa.; five grandchildren, Cameron, Isaac, Isis, Teagun, and Lucien; a brother, William Moreland and wife, Elsbeth; two sisters, Kathleen Athey and husband, Robert, and Marsha Griffith and husband, Blane, all of Bedford; and numerous nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Moreland, widow Ruth, of Bedford, and a daughter-in-law, Pela.

Ken served in the U.S. Army and worked for B&O Railroad and NES&L.

He was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed camping and boating at Raystown Lake with his family and friends.

Ken was a dedicated Pittsburgh Steelers fan and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, who will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Funeral services will be private.

Graveside services will be held Monday, Feb. 22, 2021, at 12:30 p.m. at Fellowship Cemetery, Centerville, with full military rites conducted by the Fort Bedford Honor Guard.

Arrangements are by Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, Bedford.
