Frostburg, MD - FROSTBURG [mdash] Larry O'Neil Cleveland, 73, formerly of Westernport, died Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2026, at Sterling Care, Frostburg, after a long battle with Huntington's Disease. Born on Feb. 18, 1952, in Keyser, W.Va., he was the son of the late Boyd Cleveland and Gloria (Kitzmiller) Cleveland.

Larry was a 1970 graduate of Bruce High School, Westernport, and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He retired from CSX, where he worked as a conductor and engineer. He enjoyed fishing, spending time at the river, and traveling. He was a former member of the Westernport American Legion #135.

He is survived by three children, Jenny Lease and husband Scott, Ryan Cleveland and wife Abby, and Andrea Hanlin and husband Will; three grandchildren, Avry Lease and Emileigh, and Macie and Emry Cleveland; two siblings, Kathy Cleveland and Perry, and Mike Cleveland and Kristi; nieces and nephew, Heather, Heidi and Holly Cleveland, and Sean Kamp.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2026, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing. A funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m., with the Rev. Thomas Morgan officiating. Interment will be held at Rocky Gap Veterans Cemetery, Flintstone. Military rites will be accorded by Vietnam Veterans of America, Cumberland Chapter #172.
