Gerrardstown, WV - Lee E. Rephann III, 77, of Gerrardstown, W.Va., passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2026.

Born April 18, 1948, in Frostburg, Md., he was the son of the late Betty (Hopkins) Rephann and Lee E. Rephann Jr.

Lee graduated from Beall High School in 1967 and went on to serve his country with honor for 14 years in the United States Air Force and the West Virginia Air National Guard as a Security Policeman, rising to the rank of Master Sergeant. Over the years, he served with distinction in multiple roles, including the Air Force Security Police, the Clinton, Oklahoma Police Department, and as Chief of Police in Shepherdstown, W.Va. He later retired as a court bailiff from the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office.

Lee is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie Rephann; two sons, Michael Rephann and his wife Miranda, and Matthew Rephann and his wife Nikki; his grandsons, Michael Rephann Jr. (MJ) and Arden OakLEE Rephann; and his sister, Vickie Rephann; sister n law, Debbie Ault; brothers n law, Steve Powell and Blair Powell; and sister n law, Linda Jeffrey (Brothers Wife).

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Jeffrey.

At Lee's request, his body will be cremated. There will be no visitation or funeral services. A celebration of Lee's life will be announced at a later date.
