Lee A. Wilson
Lee A. Wilson, 92, formerly of Knobley Road, Keyser, died Friday, Sept. 20, 2019, at Piney Valley Nursing Home, Keyser.
Born on Nov. 3, 1926, in Oldtown, he was a son of the late Austin R. Wilson and Stella B. (Huff) Wilson Derham. He also was preceded in death by a son, Donald L. Wilson, and two sisters, Maude Shrout and Lillian Wilson.
Mr. Wilson was retired from Westvaco Luke Mill and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the Seabees. He was a member of Local 676 of AFL-CIO and was a life member of both Queen's Point Memorial Post 6775, VFW, McCoole, and Boyce-Houser Post 41, American Legion, Keyser.
Surviving are his wife of 26 years, Linda Lee (Edwards) Wilson; two sons, Tom N. Wilson and wife, Sheila of Ridgeley, W.Va., and Michael E. Wilson and wife, Joanna of Westernport; daughter-in-law, Denise Wilson of Rawlings; three stepchildren, Helen Sions of Frederick, William A. Sions of Martinsburg, W.Va., and James C. Wiltison of Barton; an adopted daughter, Beverly Kitzmiller of New Creek, W.Va.; eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2019, from 3 to 7 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral Home on Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2019, at 10 a.m. with Pastor Brenda Shreve officiating.
Interment will be in Maryland State Veteran's Cemetery at Rocky Gap, Flintstone. Military honors will be accorded by Fort Cumberland Post 13 Honor Guard.
