Hanover, MD - Linda Rosalie Miller, 82, of Hanover, Md., previously of Cresaptown, Md., passed peacefully on Sunday, Jan. 11, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Born Nov. 20, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Glen Thomas and Mildred Loretta (Skelley) Douthitt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her niece, Ronaele.

Linda was a member of the Timber Ridge Ladies of the Morning bowling league for over two decades and served as the secretary of the league for five years. She worked part-time for more than 20 years for the Seven Oaks Community Center in Fort Meade, Md., as an attendant for the fitness center and pool.

Linda was dedicated to caring for her family. She enjoyed being outdoors, doing cross-stitch, putting together puzzles, and playing board games and cards.

Linda is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Steven Miller; and two daughters, Lisa Miller and Lynn Miller Sade and husband Alex, who will forever hold her memory close. She is survived by brother, Roy "Tommy" Douthitt and wife Paula; her sister, Karen Layman and husband Ralph; niece, Lori; and nephews, Glen and Ralph; as well as a large extended family.

A graveside service will be held Monday, Jan. 19, 2026, at 1 p.m. at Fort Ashby Cemetery, Fort Ashby, WV 26719, with the Rev. Bruce McBride officiating, followed by interment.
