Linda Jean Lepley, 72, of Cumberland, was received into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.
Born Feb. 3, 1946, in Cooks Mill, Pa., Ms. Lepley was the daughter of the late Sherman Clay Bridges and Alice (Bennett) Bridges. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Vonder Bridges.
A graduate of Everett High School, Linda was a homemaker. She devoted her life to raising her kids and spending time with her family. Linda always wanted to express love and for all to know what they meant to her. Linda attended the Tri-State Ministry Center. She was an avid reader. In her younger years, Linda attended many country concerts with her friends.
Linda is survived by her children, Lloyd Lepley, Samuel Lepley and wife, LaDonna, and Teresa Stosick and husband, Tom; and her stepdaughter, Cathy Izat. She also leaves behind her sister and best friend, Donna Huffman; her brother, Lloyd Bridges and wife, Effie; her grandchildren, Kristen Lepley, Chad Lepley, and Isabella Eberly; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD, (www.AdamsFamilyFuneralHome.com) on Saturday, March 24, 2018, at 4 p.m., with Pastor Steve Leydig officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the funeral home.
