Lorna Dale Bible Obituary
HAGERSTOWN - Lorna Dale (Boyer) Bible, 77, of Hagerstown, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2017, at Williamsport Retirement Village.
Born June 13, 1940 in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Dale and Rose Boyer.
Lorna was a graduate of Fort Hill High School in Cumberland. She worked as a homemaker. She was a member of Chewsville United Methodist Church. Lorna enjoyed quilting and crocheting.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Clarence Leo "Pete" Bible; a daughter, Teresa Lynn Bible; and two brothers, Butch and Robert Boyer.
She is survived by her two sons, Tim L. Bible and wife, Patricia of Hagerstown and Rodney D. Bible and wife, Cynthia of Smithsburg; four grandchildren, Johnathan Bible and wife, Kelly of Virginia, Billy Keckler, Gary Barr, and Shanna Wright all of Hagerstown; and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2017, at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown.
Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017, at the funeral home.
