HAGERSTOWN - Mark William Kegley, 50, of Hagerstown, passed away peacefully on Jan. 12, 2019, in Hagerstown, surrounded by his family and friends.

Mark was born Nov. 22, 1968, in Cheverly. He attended and played football for Alleghany High School, and Potomac State College in Keyser, W.Va. His profession was as a certified Master Technician for Mercedes-Benz. Mark was a gentle giant who could put a smile on anyone's face. He had a deep love for his son, family and friends, and was loved by all who knew him. He enjoyed many sports, especially football and his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys.

Mark was preceded in death by his daughter, Amanda; and his father, Bill.

He is survived by his son, Zachary Kegley; his mother, Aileen Sturtz; siblings, Wendy Kegley, Amy Hendershot (Mike), Lucas Kegley, Adam Sturtz (Robin), Courtney Childs (Chris), Jeremy Sturtz (Susan), Jeff Sturtz, and Lisa Chestlo (Thomas); fiancee, Robyn Kinney; and step-mother, Sherry Kegley; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, Jan. 17, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown.
