Grantsville, MD - Mary Belinda (Shultz) Beachy, 92, of Grantsville, Md., died peacefully May 19, 2025, at UPMC Western Maryland, Cumberland, Md., May 19, 2025.

Born March 12, 1933, in Meyersdale, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Howard & Edith (Miller) Shultz. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Clay Beachy, who passed away on June 30, 2018. At the time of Virgil's death, they were married 58 years. She was also preceded by one brother, Bill Shultz; and two sisters, Katy Durst & Ruth Broadwater.

Mrs. Beachy was a seamstress for Flushing Shirt Manufacturing Company till her retirement in 1998. She was a 1952 graduate of Meyersdale High School and attended Hostetler Church of the Brethren and Greenville Lutheran Church.

Surviving are two sons, Keith Alan (Terry) Beachy & Kenneth Clay Beachy, all of Grantsville; one sister-in-law, Jane Shultz, Meyersdale; two grandchildren, Andrew Alan Beachy, Germany & Sandra Lynn (Julian) Coluzzi, McHenry, Md.

Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller Street, Grantsville, on Friday, May 23, 2025, from 2 to 4 p.m. Services will follow immediately in the funeral home chapel at 4 p.m., with the Rev. Irvin Ernst officiating. Interment will be in Grantsville Cemetery.
