Mary Lou Coughenour, 92, of Berlin, died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017, at Meadow View Nursing Center.
Born Oct. 6, 1925 in Glencoe, she was the daughter of the late John H. and Bertha (Martz) Beck. She was also preceded in death by her husband James; infant daughter; brother, Ellis; sister, Juanita Easton; and lifelong friend, Orville Miller.
She is survived by three children, Rocklyn Myers, Somerset, Pa., Rodney Myers, Somerset, and Tracey (Mike) Wolk, Berlin; granddaughter, Elizabeth Jean Weigle and fiancé, Corey Marker; great-grandchildren, Corey, Haylynn, and Elijah Marker; niece, Gwen Winter, Frostburg; and numerous cousins.
She was a 1944 graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School and retired from Gilmour Manufacturing, Somerset. She was a member of Glencoe United Church of Christ and American Legion Auxiliary, Berlin.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 21, 2017, at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin.
Services will be held afterward at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Charles R. Dunn officiating.
