Mary Josephine "Jo" Agnes Norris, 83, of Hagerstown died at Unified Community Connections on Monday, July 9, 2018.
Born Sept. 30, 1934, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late William and Vivian (Samuel) Norris.
Mary Jo's incredible spirit and infectious laugher touched the hearts of all who knew her throughout her life. She could tell her story without ever needing to speak a word. Run softly through the clouds sweet Jo Jo; no more need for your wheel chair.
She is survived by two sisters, Billie Boyd, Waynesboro, Pa., and Susan Nadeau, Myrtle Beach, S.C.; two brothers, William Norris Jr., Windsor Locks, Conn., and Kenneth Norris, Greensboro, N.C.; four nieces; one nephew; four great-nieces and six great-nephews; and one great-great- niece and three great-great-nephews.
Celebration of life will be held Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742.
