LaVale, MD - Mary Alice (Miltenberger) Twigg, 95, of LaVale, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2026, at Cumberland Healthcare Center.

Born Jan. 16, 1931, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late J. Ambrose and Blanche L. (Hauser) Miltenberger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Allison Twigg; son, David Twigg; and her brother, Joseph Miltenberger Jr.

Mary was a 1949 graduate of Flintstone High School. She enjoyed gardening and shopping. She was a life member of the Cumberland Garden Club. She enjoyed traveling.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Debra Butler; sons, Randall Twigg, Dennis Twigg (Judy) and Leonard Twigg (Elissa); grandchildren, Kathy Delozier (Vince), Leanne Phillips (Adam), Jason Twigg, Cory Twigg (Abby), Gideon Twigg (Colleen), Bret Twigg (Tonya), Nathan Twigg (Natalie) and Will Lewis (Beckie); numerous great-grandchildren; brother, Thomas Miltenberger; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 15205 McMullen Highway, Cresaptown, on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A funeral service will immediately follow at 1 p.m., with Father Steve Fernandes, OFM, Cap, officiating.

Interment will be in Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.
