LaVale, MD - LAVALE [mdash] Mary Kay "Aunt Bea" (Migdol) Ternent, 68, of LaVale, passed away surrounded by her family July 16, 2026, at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.

She was born Jan. 27, 1958, in New Jersey, then raised in Cumberland, and was the daughter of the late Cathrean and Michael Migdol Sr.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two of her brothers, James Migdol and Larry Migdol; and her favorite puppy, Precious.

Mary graduated from Fort Hill High School in 1976. She then started her family, after several jobs, she began a career with Verizon as an operator from which she retired.

She liked playing in the Women's Shuffleboard League. Above all else she loved being with her family.

Surviving her is her husband and love of 33 years, Larry Ternent, Jr.; sons, Jason Boyce (Catrina) and Adam Boyce (Stephanie); Bryan Ternent (Brittani); Justin Ternent-Wittenbach (James); granddaughters, Madisen Boyce (Jacob) and Makkayla; grandsons, Dashanti Garlitz and Elijah Ternent; two sisters, Shirley Sweitzer and Kathy Rose (Murray); two brothers, Ronnie Poling (Priscilla), and her twin brother Mike Migdol (Vicki); a large extended family including many nieces and nephews; many friends; and her puppies, Sassy and Fuzzy.

Visitation will be Monday, July 20, from 12 to 2 p.m. at Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A. 15205 McMullen Hwy SW, Cresaptown, MD. A funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. with her brother-in-law Pastor Blaine Cutter officiating.

Pallbearers will be Jason, Adam, Justin, Bryan, Dashanti, and Jacob.

Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens, LaVale, MD.
