McKinley "Mick" Allen Buser Obituary

Short Gap, WV - McKinley "Mick" Allen Buser, 86, of Short Gap, died Nov. 26, 2025, at Allegany Health Nursing & Rehab Center.

Born Aug. 2, 1939, in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Clinton Harold Buser and Helen Irene (Seeders) Buser.

He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife of 57 years, Helen (Sigler) Buser, and his sister, Elma Schaeffer.

Mick had served in the U.S. Air Force.

He was a graduate of Potomac State College,

He had worked at A.B.L. as a chemist. He then went to Kelly-Springfield Tire Company working as a shipping supervisor. Later, Mick was involved with the Pownall's Addition Community Authority (PACA).

For over 50 years, Mick was a member of the Short Gap Lions Club, serving in every office during his tenure.

Mick was proud to be a blood donor to the American Red Cross. He had donated over 22 gallons.

Survivors include his two children, Jeffrey Buser and James Buser and wife Amy; two granddaughters, Ava (Buser) Niland and Evelyn Buser; and a sister, Charlotte Wolf.

Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A., Cumberland, on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday in the funeral home at 11 a.m., with Pastor Doug Seaman, officiating.

Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
