Menno Edward Yoder
Menno Edward Yoder, 78, of Salisbury, Pa., died Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2019, in Grantsville.
Born March 8, 1941, in Meyersdale, Pa., he was the son of the late Lloyd E. and Lydia (Yoder) Yoder. He was also preceded in death by one granddaughter, Kimberly Bender, and one sister, Irene Tice.
Mr. Yoder was a farm equipment mechanic. He was a member of Friendship Haven Church, Cumberland, Mennonite Disaster Service, and Grantsville Volunteer Fire Department.
He is survived by his wife, Doris "Elaine" (Yoder) Yoder; two sons, Ronald (Lynda) Yoder, Grantsville, and Lynford Yoder, Cumberland; two daughters, Lillian (Alvin) Bender, Grantsville, and Susan Yoder, Salisbury; three brothers, Herman Yoder, Raymond G. Yoder and Glenn Yoder, all of Grantsville; two sisters, Shirley Kinsinger and Glenda Yoder, both of Grantsville; seven grandchildren, Galen and Tonya Bender, Tyler, Brendan, Conner, Brianna and Megan Yoder.
Friends will be received at Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, Friday, Oct. 11, 2019, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at Maple Glen Mennonite Church Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019, at 10:30 a.m. with Pastors Ken Tice and Ron Stivala officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior to services.
Interment will be in Maple Glen Cemetery.
