Frostburg, MD - Michael M. O'Rourke, 86, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at UPMC Western Maryland Hospital.

Born on Dec. 26, 1939, to the late Mary C. (Brady) and Patrick A. O'Rourke. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his stepson, Jamie Cutter.

Michael graduated from La Salle Class of 1957 and went on to work at A&P before becoming a business agent for UFCW Local 27.

One of Mike's greatest pleasures were playing golf with his buddies Francie, John, Harold, Gene and Jason. He enjoyed vacationing in Myrtle Beach, Nashville, Cancun and a cruise to the Bahamas. Mike never met a stranger.

Mike was an avid fan of the Baltimore Ravens, Baltimore Orioles and Maryland Terrapins.

Surviving are his wife and best friend of 35 years, Debbie O'Rourke; children, Patrick and Angie O'Rourke, Greg and Sharon O'Rourke, Brian and Amy O'Rourke, and John and Jen O'Rourke; stepchildren, Johnny and Jason Cutter; grandchildren, Jessica, Michael, Sydney, Brandon, Micaela and Patrick O'Rourke; stepgrandchildren, Ethan and Sonja; great-granddaughter, Juniper; brother, Tim and Marilyn O'Rourke.

Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, MD, on Friday, June 19, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m., with the Rev Jim Jeffries and Father Eric Gauchat.

Michael will be cremated after the services.
