Frostburg, MD - FROSTBURG [mdash] Michele Lynn Jenkins, 57, of Frostburg, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2026, at UPMC Western MD.
She was born on Jan. 23, 1969, to Linda Leptic. She is preceded in death by her father, Vincent "Jim" Eugene Martirano.
Michele was the friendly face and owner of Pet Wants in Frostburg, along with her husband, Jeff, and four legged door greeter, Churro. Prior to Pet Wants, Michele was a long time server and bartender at numerous locations in the area.
Michele enjoyed playing games, spending time with her friends and Cherise's friends, and escaping to amusement parks.
Surviving are her husband, Jeff Jenkins; daughter, Cherise Jenkins; mother, Linda Leptic; step-father, Jesse Broadwater; her little fur baby, Churro; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a niece, a sister-in-law, a brother-in-law, and three step-brothers.
The family would like to thank the UPMC ICU unit for the outstanding care that Michele received.
Michele was cremated in accordance with her wishes and no services will be held.
