Westernport, Maryland - Mildred "Millie" Westfall, 94, of Westernport, Md., passed away Jan. 8, 2026.

Born June 26, 1931, at Nethkin, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Elsie (Eckhart) Simmons. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Westfall Sr.; her son, Bob Westfall-Simmons; her grandson, Chris Westfall; sisters, Freda Wamsley and Louise Mangold; and infant brothers, Henry, Charles and Robert.

Millie found peace in the simple pleasures of life. She would spend hours watching birds and held a deep appreciation for the beauty of flowers. At one time Millie was a member of the Petunia Council #10, Westernport. Millie was a devoted homemaker who raised her sons and dearly loved her grandchildren.

Millie is survived by her sons, Alvin Westfall Jr. (Susan) and Marshall Westfall (Tammy). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Bobby Simmons (Kristi), Steve Simmons (Shannon), Keith Metz (Elizabeth), Jennifer Housel (Larry), Lisa Wilson (Adam), Heather Andrews, John Leslie (Jamie), Samantha Montgomery (Will) and Nicole Leslie.

She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; her sister, Virginia "Ginny" Decker (Don); daughter-in-law, Vickie Simmons; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Wayne and Mary Brewer.

Friends will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2026, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Friday, Jan. 16, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Tim Bittinger officiating.
