Nancy Dicken (Rusty) Obituary

Nancy "Rusty" Thrasher passed away peacefully in her hometown of Lonaconing. Her life was an inspiration to all who had the privilege to know her, as she traveled through life with a multitude of obstacles yet faced them bravely.

She is survived by two daughters, Jonell Macbeth, of LaVale, and Samantha Gass, of Mount Airy. She is also survived by her grandchildren, the lights of her life, Emma Macbeth, of California, and Ethan and Delaney Gass, of Maryland.

She is also survived by her beloved sister, Amy Kiddy; and 4 brothers, Terry and Jim Dicken, and Rick and Jim Bogie.

As was her giving way in life, she donated her body to science so that others may benefit. At this time, there is no service.

In honor of her, please hug your children tightly, and any donations in her memory can be made to a children's charity of your choice.
