Danville, Maryland - Patricia A. "Patti" Hart, 81, of Danville, Md., went home to be with our Lord on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026, at UPMC Western Maryland in Cumberland, Md.
Born Feb. 8, 1944, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Margaret (Flanagan) Hart.
Patti graduated from Bruce High School in 1962, and after working away for several years, moved back home to take care of her aging parents and grandmother. She also formerly worked at Mason's Barn and Hunter Douglas and operated the family greenhouse (Hart's & Flowers) for over 10 years.
She loved all animals, big and small, and loved flowers and gardening.
She is survived by her sisters, Margaret "Peggy" Snyder of Tampa, Fla., Penny Paszkiewicz of Annandale, Va., and Nancy Hart of Largo, Fla.
The family wishes to express heartfelt thanks to all the doctors, nurses and support staff, radiology of Ruby Memorial Hospital Morgantown, W.Va., Cancer Center of Keyser, W.Va., Moran Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation, and UPMC of Cumberland.
To the neighbors on the hill, thank you for all you did throughout the years. Your kindness is what life is all about.
Per Patti's wishes, she will be cremated and there will be no service.
The Smith Funeral Home and Crematory, Keyser, W.Va., is in charge of the arrangements.
