Frostburg, Maryland - Patricia Ann Wright, 85, of Frostburg, Md., passed away Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2024. Born June 4, 1939, in Frostburg, Md., she was the daughter of the late Donald and Estelle (Largent) Giles.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Herman Wright; her sisters, Catherine McGee, Linda, and Virginia; her brothers, Tommy, Gary, Mike, and Kevin Giles; brother-in-law, Louie Wright; and sister-in-law, Mary Jane Pfaff.

Patricia attended Beall High School and was a member of Eckhart Methodist Church. She was a homemaker and a wonderful cook. She loved spending time with family and loved attending her children's sporting events. Pat always made sure her family was well taken care of. Some of her favorite hobbies were cooking, cleaning, and sewing. She enjoyed doing yard work, painting, and tending to her flowers. Granny was a dependable and loving babysitter for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She leaves behind her sons, Randy Wright (Karen) and Mark Wright (Denise); her grandchildren, Amanda Miller (Jeremy), Cory Wright, and Jason Wright (Rachel); her great-grandchildren, Jannae and Jayden Miller and Miles Wright; brothers, Francis and Donald Giles; sister, Lilly; brother-in-law, Donald (Jan) Wright; and sisters-in-law, Nancy Wright and Lucille Jay (Dale); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at Sowers Funeral Home, 60 West Main Street, Frostburg, Md., on Friday, Oct. 11, 2024, from 6 to 8 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. George Harpold officiating.

Interment will be at Eckhart Cemetery.
