Cumberland, MD - Peggy Louise Roller, 83, of Cumberland, Md., passed away peacefully June 24, 2026, at Allegany Health Nursing and Rehab.

She was born Aug. 4, 1942, in Cumberland to the late Richard and Margaret Roller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert "Bobby" Roller; her sister, Darlene Shenk; and brother-in-law, Edward Issacs.

Peggy graduated from Fort Hill High School in 1960. She then worked at Joe's Market for many years until their closure, and she then continued to work at the HRDC senior center until her retirement.

Years ago, she enjoyed playing skill pool around town. Peggy's life mainly revolved around caring for others, especially her young grandchildren and grandmother "Maw".

She is survived by her daughter, Crystal Dawn Roller; grandchildren, Erin, Thomas, John and Austin; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Alice Kay Issacs; brother-in-law, Allen Shenk; sister-in-law, Ramona Roller; nieces, Tonya, Melissa, Kimberly; nephews, Bryon, Robert, Chilton and Jared.

A visitation will be Friday, June 26, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, MD. A funeral service will immediately follow at 1 p.m.

Internment will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Cumberland, MD.
