Randy Lane Browning
Randy Lane Browning, of Short Gap, W.Va., went to be with his Lord and Savior after a courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2019, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa.
Randy was born on July 23, 1964, in Cumberland, to the late Mary V. and Albert L. Browning. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Clifton and Richard Browning; and one nephew, Reed Browning.
Randy worked for Northrop Grumman as an inspector. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by the love of his life and faithful companion, his fiancée, Sharon Grady; two stepdaughters, Jackie Grady and Jess Grady; two sons, Shawn Browning and Nathan Browning; one brother, Albert L. "Butch" Browning Jr. and wife, Xenia Rae Browning, of Fort Ashby, W.Va.; two very special foster brothers, Ralph Campbell and wife, Stacy, of Martinsburg, W.Va., and Frank Campbell and wife, Linda, of Splendora, Texas; and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his loving fur babies, Lanie Rose and Boo.
Friends will be received at Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Monday, Nov. 18, 2019, from 4 to 6 p.m.
Funeral services will immediately follow at 6 p.m. with the Rev. Benny Brakeall officiating.
In accordance with Randy's wishes, he will be cremated.

Randy was an amazing man. A great friend. It's a terrible thing that he's gone and I'm so sorry for the loss his loved ones feel now. Know that we're all thinking of you. We will never forget Randy.
