Hyndman, PA - Lewis, Raymond W., 82, Hyndman, Pa., passed away at UPMC Western Maryland peacefully with his wife and family by his side on Feb. 26, 2026. Born Oct. 11, 1943, to the late John and Annie (White) Lewis. Also preceded in death by brothers, Joseph, Jack, Tom, Jerry, Henry, Allen and Bob; sisters, Helen, Mary Lou and Mae.

Raymond was survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Carolyn (Emerick) Lewis. Also survived by children, John Lewis, Raymond A. (Karen) Lewis and Julie (Kevin) Chappell; grandchildren, Chloe and Abigail Lewis; sister, B. Geraldine Felker; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Raymond liked to travel and spend time outside gardening and upkeep with the yards. He loved spending time with his family, especially Chloe's band performances and Abby's hockey games. The family would like to send a special thank you to Dr. Zaman and staff.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, March 1, 2026, from 5 to 7 p.m. and on Monday, March 2, from 1 p.m. until time of service at 3 p.m., at The Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, 169 Clarence St., Hyndman PA 15545.
