Cumberland, MD - Rebecca "Becky" Lee (Lambert) Welsh, 71, of Cumberland, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at her home.

Born November 27, 1954, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Angela (Leo) Lambert.

Becky was a 1972 graduate of Fort Hill High School. She then graduated with an associate's degree from Allegany College. After 42 years, she retired from CMG as an Administrative Assistant.

Becky enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family, especially her grandson Emerson. She was a member of the GFC, the Moose, the VFW, American Legion, and Our Lady of the Mountains.

Becky is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Welsh; daughter, Bridget Forbes (Miranda); step-daughters, Christina Johnson (Jeff) and Shelly Minnick (Bill); step-son, Tommy Welsh, Jr (Crystal); her grandson, Emerson Forbes; her step-grandchildren, Bethany Johnson, Logan Johnson, Avery Welsh, Alice Welsh, Sierra Minnick and Hannah Minnick; her siblings, Jane Lambert (Peter), Nancy Lambert Wilt, James "Jimmy" Lambert (Darlene), as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

The family would like to thank Christie Dodrill for the exceptional care she gave Becky. Her kindness, compassion, and willingness to always go above and beyond meant more than words can express.

In accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
