Cumberland, MD - Rickey Allen Adams, 74, of Cumberland, went home to our Lord on Nov. 19, 2025. He was the son of the late Robert Adams and Goldie (Ruby) Adams.

Rickey (Rick) is survived by his loving wife, Linda (Lloyd) Adams; his son, Rickey Adams Jr.; Rickey Jr.'s mother, Amber Wigger; and Rickey Jr.'s wife, Jennifer. He is also survived by his stepchildren, Daniel Stewart Jr. and wife Tracey, William Stewart, Honey Fisher and husband Justin, Samantha Hartung and husband Timothy, and Jacob McFadden; as well as extended family members, Eric Turner, Crystal McFadden and Sarah McFadden.

He was blessed with many grandchildren, including William Stewart Jr., Ethan Royer, Marissa, Alanna, Camren, Caroline, Trenton, Kyleigh, Lydia, Madelyn, Christopher, Isabella, Autumn, Nathaniel, William, Jenson, Alex and Melinda.

Rick cherished the companionship of his very special friends Debra Bridges, Kenny Dixon and David Spencer. He also leaves behind two special nephews, Bobby Adams, Russ Adams; and their children.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Adams; mother, Goldie (Ruby) Adams; brother, Robert Leroy Adams; sister, Norma Davis; and niece, Skip Rodenheaver.

Rick was a gifted mechanic who graduated from Lincoln Tech in Baltimore. He generously donated his body to science, and his ashes will be returned home in the spring of 2026.

A Celebration of Life will be held on May 30, 2026, at 2 p.m. at Rick and Linda's home. All family and friends are welcome to attend.
