Cumberland, Maryland - Robert "Bob" James McGraw Jr., 67, of Cumberland, Md., passed away suddenly Monday, Oct. 6, 2025, at his home.

Born May 9, 1958, in Cumberland, Bob was the son of the late Robert James McGraw Sr. and Margaret Marie (Marks) McGraw. He was also preceded in death by his great-nephews, Austin and Nathan Slider.

A 1976 Oldtown High School graduate, Bob was a U.S. Air Force veteran, with 15 years of service. He also attended Vo-Tech and was the owner and operator of Bob's Drywall for many years. Bob enjoyed fishing and hunting with his family and close friends, and especially loved spending time with his grandsons. Bob was one of the organizers for fishing tournaments at Rocky Gap. Bob was a great husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, and he would be there for anyone.

Bob is survived by his wife of 46 years, Madie McGraw; his daughters, Tonya Bender and husband Billy, Tara McGraw, and Trisha McGraw; his grandsons, Alex Keister and Kingsley McGraw; and his siblings, Rick McGraw and wife Tracy, Vickie Cornwell and husband Gene, Carole McGraw-McCoy; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, MD, www.AdamsFamilyFuneralHome.com, on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2025, from 10 a.m. to noon. A memorial service will follow at noon, with Pastor Dan Twigg officiating.

Interment will be in Maryland Veteran's Cemetery at Rocky Gap.

Military honors will be accorded at the cemetery by the Post #13 Veterans Honor Guard.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to assist with the expenses.
