Cumberland, MD - Robert "Bob" Edward Rollins, 73, of Cumberland, passed away Monday, Jan. 12, 2026, at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, W.Va.

Born May 27, 1952, in Cumberland, he was a son of the late John William Rollins Jr. and Agnes Barbara (Steele) Rollins. In addition to his parents, Bob was also preceded in death by a brother, William Rollins.

Bob was a 1970 graduate of Bishop Walsh School and was an extremely proud 1974 graduate of the University of Notre Dame. He remained an adamant Notre Dame football fan for the rest of his life. In his younger years, he served as a Knights of Columbus Squires member. He served his country in the United States Air Force. After retiring from the Air Force in 1986, Bob worked for True Value and Naylor's hardware stores.

Bob is survived by brothers, Eric Rollins and wife Connie, Richard Rollins and wife Evelyne, Kevin Rollins and wife Nannette; sister, Patricia Terwilliger; nephews and nieces, Brian, Marisa, Erin, Kelly, Brianna, Bridget, Nicole, Zachary, JT and Grace; sister-in-law, Carole Rollins.

In accordance with his wishes, he was cremated.

A celebration of Bob's life will be held Sunday, June 14, 2026, at the Mountain View Pavilion at Rocky Gap State Park.

A memorial service will be conducted at the Maryland State Veterans Cemetery, Rocky Gap, Flintstone, MD, on Monday, June 15, at noon. Military honors will be accorded by the Fort Cumberland Post 13 Honor Guard.
