Dalzell, South Carolina - Robert Julian Brown Jr., 65, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025, at his home in Dalzell, S.C.

Born May 1, 1960, in Rantoul, Illinois, Robert was the youngest of three children by Robert Brown Sr. and Kathryn Brown.

Robert (Rob) is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Anne Marie Brown; daughter, Christina Costello; daughter, Brittany Renninger; daughter, Ariel Brown; daughter, Kelly Brown; six grandchildren; and many more extended family.

Robert was a loving father who dedicated his life to his family. He was a man of strength and honor, integrity and loyalty, with a presence that filled any room. Rob was proud of his Viking and Austrian heritage and had a love for the German language, tracing back to childhood years spent in Wiesbaden, Germany. He was an outdoorsman who preferred mountains over beaches, forests over cities, peace and quiet over noise.

Robert spent the last year of his life in relaxing retirement with his cherished wife, Anne Marie, on their final adventure in Dalzell, S.C. He will be dearly missed, and his spirit will live on through our memories of him.

A private luncheon will be hosted by close family to honor and remember Robert.
