Waynesboro, Pa. - Robert "Bob" Brust passed away on March 10, 2026, at the age of 80, surrounded by loved ones. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, dedication, and quiet strength. Born on November 17, 1945, to the late August Trago Brust Jr. and Sara Belle (Strayer) Brust of Cumberland, Maryland, Bob grew up on Greene Street with his parents and twin brother, Richard "Dick" Brust. He graduated from Allegheny High School in 1963, where he also met Terrilea Robison, who would become the love of his life. Their marriage lasted 58 years, reflecting their deep bond and devotion.

After attending Allegheny Community College, Bob proudly served in the United States Army from 1965 to 1968, cherishing especially his time stationed in Germany. Following his service, he settled in Frederick, Maryland, where he raised his family and enjoyed a distinguished 40-year career as a Computer Analyst. In retirement, Bob moved to Greencastle, Pennsylvania, and later lived at Quincy Village in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, until his passing.

Beyond cherished time with family, Bob had a passion for sports, enjoyed traveling with Terri, and took great pleasure in restoring classic cars, especially his 1954 Ford F100. His lifelong passion for cars was a particular source of happiness and fulfillment, especially when attending car shows with Terri and meeting fellow enthusiasts.

A dedicated husband and proud father, Bob is survived by his loving wife, Terri, and their two sons: Michael (wife Melissa, sons Thomas and Matthew), and Steven (wife Kate, son Colin and daughter Delaney). In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his twin brother, Dick, in 1975.

A celebration of Bob's life will be held at a later date. The family requests that, instead of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation or the American Heart Association.

Bob will be remembered for his generosity, steadfastness, and the positive impact he had on so many lives. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
