Green Spring, West Virginia - GREEN SPRING, W.Va. - Robert Leroy Ohler, 87, formerly of Stoystown, Pa., went to be with the Lord and was reunited with his wife, Shirley Ann (Smith) Ohler, Thursday, Jan. 21, 2021.
Born July 19, 1933, in Coal Junction, Pa., he was the son of the late Alexander and Nina Jane (Mitchell) Ohler.
He is survived by these children: Leroy (Candy) Ohler, Pamela (Harry) Beckman, Kimberly (Arthur) Davis, Troy (Rhonda) Ohler, Tonya (Bill) Nau, Melissa (Jason) Charlton, and Robin (Richard) Knupp; 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
He was a Korean War Army veteran and retired coal miner, a member of Springfield Assembly of God, and loved hunting, fishing, and camping.
Friends will be received at Kantner Assembly of God from noon until services Monday, Jan. 25, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. William Dodson officiating.
Somerset Co. Honor Guard will present military rites.
Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Stoystown.
