Roger Lee Hall Sr. Obituary

Ridgeley, West Virginia - Roger Lee Hall Sr., 80, of Ridgeley, W.Va., passed away Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2025, at Devlin Manor Health Care Center.

Born Sept. 28, 1945, in Cumberland, Md., Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Blanch (Ketterman) Hall; two brothers, Virgil and Donald Hall; his two daughters, Tammy Lynn Hall and Brenda Lee (Hall) Kunis; and his son-in-law, Rodney Joiner; as well as numerous aunts and uncles.

Roger is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Nancy "Darlene" (Summers) Hall; daughter, Tracy and Jonathan Wagoner; Colby and Dakota Joiner; Brittany and Jordan Lupettie; and Ava and Harper; two sons, Roger "Bucky" Hall Jr. and wife Tammy, and Michael "Mikey" Hall; one son-in-law, Timmy Kunis; Timmy Michael and Jenson Kunis; Greyson and Gavin Kunis, and new baby girl in May: Jermey Kunis (Lacy); Carter "Toad" Kunis; Rusty Kunis (Karlyn); Brynleigh Kunis and new baby boy in March; his two brothers, Ronnie Hall (Patty) and Larry Hall (Ebbie); and his sister, Linda Hall. He is also survived by his special friends, Jane and Earl Shook, Bonnie and Ronnie Louk, and Gene and Jr. Hilkey; and his fur baby, Chocolate; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and family.

Roger had a love for the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his sons, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Roger had a green thumb, and had a passion for growing sunflowers. He played softball, as well as coached baseball and basketball at Holy Cross. He made an impression on many young lives. Roger also played Santa Claus at Holy Cross. He loved the Yankees, the Washington Redskins, bowling, and picnics in the backyard. Most importantly, Roger was a loving and caring person, who loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, MD, www.AdamsFamilyFuneralHome.com, on Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A service will follow at 1 p.m., with Pastor Ken Hamilton officiating.
