Roger Paul O'Neil, 44, LaVale, formerly of Meyersdale, Pa., died Thursday, Aug. 12, 2021, at UPMC Western Maryland Health System.
Born April 16, 1977, in Cumberland, he is the son of Kenneth and Lynnie (Christner) O'Neil.
He was preceded in death by his aunts, Eleve Romesburg and Aletha Sanner, and uncle, Dean (Rita) O'Neil.
He is survived by his parents, Ken and Lynnie; brother, Ryan O'Neil and wife, Jacque; aunt and uncle, Karen and Paul Meyers; cousins, Steve and Tim Meyers; uncle and aunt, Gene and Emma Jean O'Neil; cousins, Tammy, Heidi, and Mike O'Neil; special cousin, Matt Thompson.
Roger was a graduate of Meyersdale Area High School.
Roger loved animals and fooling with computers.
He was an avid sports fan, especially liked watching Pittsburgh Penguins, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Penn State Football.
Memorial services will be held at M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale, Saturday, Aug. 21, 2021, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Connie Garlick officiating.
