Frostburg, MD - Ronald Gene Eisentrout, 84, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2025, at UPMC Western Maryland.

Born April 17, 1941, he was the son of Michael McKenzie and Viola (Eisentrout) Davis.

Ronnie was a 50-year Life Member of the Frostburg Fire Department. He retired as a supervisor from the Frostburg Parks and Recreation Department.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Dixie Eisentrout; sons, Rodney Eisentrout (Dawn), Steve Yeager (Catrina) and Michael Yeager; daughter, Patty Grove (Kevin); seven grandchildren; four great- grandchildren; sisters, Bobby Cutter, Sherry Wilkinson, Bonnie Tortorello and Rosie Brewer.

Family and friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with funeral services at 1 p.m., with Pastor Jim Jeffries officiating.
