Ronald "Ron" Thomas Jeffrey, 74, of Flintstone, formerly of Frostburg, peacefully passed away on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2019, at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family after a long battle with dementia. He was a member of Saint John's Episcopal Church and a lifetime member of the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 172. He was a past member of the Clarysville and Frostburg Volunteer Fire Departments.
Ron is survived by his wife of 38 years, Linda Jeffrey; his daughter, Anna Houck and husband, Donald; and his son, Richard Webb and wife, Shari. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Brooke Fitzgerald, Kristin Fitzgerald, Justin Houck, Shane Ruby, Carynne Ruby, Mercedes Webb, and McKenzie Webb; great-grandchildren, Kenneth, Addilyn, Paige, and Oliver; brother, Lee Rephann and wife, Bonnie; and sister, Vickie Rephann; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The family gives a special thank you to the Martinsburg VA Center, Unit 5C; his special caregivers, Diana and Heather; the Home Based Primary Care Team; WMHS Home Hospice; Jody with Comfort Keepers; and the WMHS PCU for all the care and compassion given to Ron in his final days.
Our fond memories of our husband, father, brother, grandfather, and uncle will live on in our hearts every day.
The Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland (, is in charge of the arrangements.
