Cumberland, MD - Ronny "Ron" Lee White, 50, of Cumberland, suddenly passed away Saturday, April 19, 2025, leaving an unfillable void in his loved ones.
Born July 20, 1974, in Cumberland, he was the son of Ronald and Goldie (Fletcher) White.
Ron was a 1992 graduate of Fort Hill High School. He also obtained an associate's degree in accounting and mathematics from Allegany College of Maryland.
Mr. White worked as an electrician for IBEW Local 307 and was employed by Freestate Electric. He taught 5th year apprenticeship at Western Maryland JATC. Ron's legacy as an employee was his kind soul and unwavering dedication.
Ron was a member of Bethel Church of the Nazarene.
In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking and collecting knives.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Jamie White; children, Brittany Bradley and husband Ricky, Brandi Skelley, and Cody Skelley; and his sister, Sherry Ritchey and husband Bradley. Ron's pride and joy in life were his grandchildren: Mila Bradley, MacKenzie and Olivia Skelley, and his little buddies, Aiden Ketterman and Jayson Porter. Ron's patience, love, and kindness molded his buddies into young gentleman that made him proud.
Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A., Cumberland, on Friday, April 25, 2025, from 5 to 8 p.m., and on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 11 a.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 Saint Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
