Cumberland, Maryland - Rosalee Ann (Wolfe) Steele, 79, of Cumberland, Md., passed away peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Mountain City Rehab Center, Frostburg, Md.

Rosalee was born April 13, 1946, in Cumberland, Md., and grew up in Oldtown, Md. She was the daughter of the late Floyd George Wolfe and Margaret Mae (Benson) Wolfe. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Ronald Martin Steele Sr.; a brother, Edward Howard Wolfe and wife Patricia; and a sister, Georgia Mae Martin and husband Aloysius.

Rosalee was a graduate of Oldtown High School in 1964 and was retired from the State of Maryland. She was a devout Christian who graduated from Scarritt College for Christian Workers in Tennessee, where she studied to be a missionary. In her younger years, she loved being a leader with the Good News Club and also enjoyed drawing and sharing her creations with family and friends. She was a longtime member of Highland Baptist Church.

Rosalee is survived by her sisters, Maryjune Mieszkowski and her youngest sister Gloria "Sandi" Wolfe; her brother, Captain (USAF, retired) Sonny Wolfe and wife Brenda; along with numerous nieces and nephews and Ron's children.

Friends will be received at Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, MD, www.adamsfamilyfuneralhome.com, on Sunday, March 15, 2026, from 1 to 2 p.m. A funeral service will begin at 2 p.m., with Pastor Charles Riggleman officiating.

Interment will be in Mount Hermon Cemetery.
