MOUNT SAVAGE [mdash] Rose Elizabeth (Linn) McKenzie passed away on Friday, Feb. 14, 2025, at UPMC Western Maryland.
She was the daughter of David Morrison and Margaret Francis House Linn. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Arthur; sons, Ricky and Jeffrey; ex son-in-law, James McKenze; and two weeks ago, Donald Cannillo.
Rose worked as a school cafeteria manager for the Board of Education at Mount Savage for 26 years where she enjoyed interacting with teachers and students, and also her children and grandchildren who attended school at Mount Savage.
She is survived by her daughter, Mara (McKenzie) Cannillo; son, Ryan McKenzie; daughter, Macy Ann Miller; son, Tom; and daughter-in-law, Betty; children, Jamie, and his children, Reagan and Evan; Jeremy and children, Ryley and Mason; late Ricky's children, Megan and Skylar; late Jeffrey's children, Jarrett and Clayton. Rose had nine brothers and sisters, and many nieces and nephews.
Rose will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.
The services will be private. Sowers Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
