Stoystown, Pennsylvania - Roy Burton Smith, 83, Stoystown, Pa., went home to meet his Lord on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at home.
Born May 12, 1938, in Midlothian, he was the son of the late William and Edith Pearl (Hott) Smith.
Roy is survived by his wife of 55 years, the former Anna "Dolly" Ohler.
Also, he is survived by his four children, daughter, Cynthia and husband, Mark Blair, son, Leroy Smith and wife, Valarie, daughter, Dianna Schwab and husband, Charles, and son, David Smith; grandchildren, Shawn and Laura Blair, Jeramy and Becca Blair, Joshua and Sara Smith, Kimber, Liam, and Kevin Schwab; great-grandchildren, Xavier, Bella, Caileigh, and Aidan Blair.
Also, he is survived by his brother, sisters, many nieces and nephews and friends alike.
Roy served honorably in the U.S. Army and six years in the Army National Guard.
Roy was a longtime member and board member of the Kantner Assembly of God Church.
Roy loved camping, hunting and spending time with his family and children.

Family will receive friends at Kantner Assembly of God, 430 Schoolhouse Road, Kantner, Pa, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
Additional viewing is Tuesday at the church from 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Vaughn Burkett officiating.
Interment will be in Somerset County Memorial Park.
