Shirley Lou Andrews, 88, of Hagerstown, passed away, Monday, June 27, 2022, at her home.

Born Thursday, Aug. 10, 1933, in Mount Savage, she was the daughter of the late Emma R. (Blank) Lancaster. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry L. Andrews.

Shirley graduated from Beall High School in 1951. She was employed with Beaver Mechanical, retiring after 24 years of service.

Shirley was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She was an avid NASCAR and dirt track racing fan. Shirley also enjoyed watching the Washington Nationals and the Washington Redskins.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda L. Zittle, of Hagerstown; four sons, Matthew L. Andrews and wife, Regina, of Clear Spring, Eric L. Andrews Sr. and wife, Teresa, of Hagerstown, Mark J. Andrews, of Hagerstown, and Scott C. Andrews, of Hagerstown; sister, Bernice Huff, of Frederick; five grandchildren, Eric L. Andrews Jr., Amy N. Andrews, Kyle A. Zittle, Christopher S. Andrews and Dalton J. Andrews; great-grandchild, Brady M. Andrews, and expecting a great-grandaughter, Zittle.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen L. Andrews; stepfather, Frederick Lancaster; stepsister, Gloria Witt.

Services will be held Saturday, July 2, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, with Pastor Scott Johnston officiating.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, July 1, 2022, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Interment will be at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown.
