Mount Savage, Maryland - Stephen Baker, Sr., 73, of Mount Savage, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at Devlin Manor.
Born In Cumberland on Dec. 16, 1950, he was the son of the late John Patrick and Margaret (Spurno) Baker.
Stephen was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Mount Savage. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked as a truck driver and a salesman.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Barbara Ann Baker; sons, Stephen, Jr. and fiancée Deborah, Patrick and wife Ronda, David and fiancée Katie, and Brock; 13 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home on Monday, July 22, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. with Father Scott Kady officiating.
Interment will be in Maryland State Veterans Cemetery at Rocky Gap.
Pallbearers will be: Brady, Mason, Kelian, Bruce, Eric, and JR.
