Cumberland, MD - Steven A. Miller, 76, of Cumberland, Md., passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family and the caring staff at Devlin Manor on Monday, April 20, 2026.

Born in Pinto, Md., to Conward Miller and Velma Sullivan, he was preceded in death by his mother, Velma Sullivan; father, Conward Miller; stepfather, Fred Sullivan; brothers, Kay and Jay Miller; and sister-in-law, Candy Miller.

Steve was a talented artist and a devoted son and brother. He shared a special connection with his mother, Velma, as she cared for Steve with unwavering love, dedication and strength.

Steve attended the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, showcasing his paintings at exhibitions in Philadelphia and Paris, France.

He is survived by his brother, Fred Miller; nieces and nephews, Jason Miller, Jeannie Harris, Joyce Miller, Matt Miller and Megan Fields.

Friends will be received at Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 15205 McMullen Hwy. S.W., Cresaptown, on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, from 4 to 6 p.m. A memorial service will immediately follow at 6 p.m., with the Rev. Harold McClay officiating.

Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Cumberland.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Archway Station in Steve's name. Donations can be made via checks mailed to Archway Station, 45 Queen St., Cumberland, MD 21502.
