Tammy Jean Shockey Obituary

Lonaconing, MD - Tammy Jean Shockey, 65, of Church Street, Lonaconing, died Sunday, July 5, 2026, at Egle Nursing and Rehab Center. Born on Oct. 1, 1960, she was the daughter of Charles "Pooch" and Betty (Spiker) Moses.

She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Shockey; a granddaughter, Emma Jo Shockey; and a brother, Donnie Moses.

Tammy was a graduate of Valley High School and an employee of Egle Nursing and Rehab, where she worked as a medication aide for 20 years. She loved to crochet and spend time with her grandkids.

Along with her parents, she is also survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Randall Lee Shockey; daughter, Randi Amoruso and husband Joe; son, Marvin Shockey and wife Brittany; stepson, Michael Shockey and wife Tina; grandchildren, Ciera and finance Jacob, Julien and fiancée Stephanie, Jenna, Mya, Saydee, Khloe, Travis, Dylan and Jaden; brother, Brian Moses; sister, Krista Hershberger and husband David; daughter-in-law, Tracey Shockey; numerous nieces and nephews; and two very close friends, Mary Fazenbaker and Bob Foote Sr.

The family would like to thank Jeff Metz, Dave Lauder and the staff at Egle Nursing and Rehab Center for the love, compassion and care they showed not only to their employee and co-worker, but also to their dear friend, Tammy.

Tammy donated her body to the anatomical gift registry, and no services will be held.
